Hi Gary

I'm interested in licensing one of your YouTube/Sydney opera House images for use on the homepage of a new website to mark Benjamin Britten's centenary. The main organisation behind it is the (charitable) Britten-Pears Foundation, but working in partnership with Britten's three publishers, so probably best classed as a commercial/borderline commercial site. Please could you drop me an email so we can explore whether this might be possible and on what terms?

Thanks

Hi there

Most of my images on flickr are creative commons which means you can use them but you have to credit and not change them - plus of course they cannot be used for commercial use. Also send me links to your thesis when done! BTW I have a write up of a Florence to Rome cycle trip I did in the 90s that you might be interested in!

Best Gary

Dear Mr. Hayes,

My name is Taylor Evans and I am completing my senior thesis through Auburn University's graphic design program in the United States. My thesis consists of a fictional cycling and travel tour through the Tuscany region of Italy. After searching flickr.com, I came across your photography and was extremely impressed with your work. I think your photographs would compliment my thesis very well. Would you be willing to let me borrow these photographs for educational purposes? I will credit you in my work both in print and on my online portfolio. If you have any questions or concerns, I'd be happy to answer them. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Taylor Evans
