The Volca Kick is the master clock, sending midi sync to the SQ1 which is sending two separate 8 note midi sequences to each of the NTS-1s. I use a mix of straight sequencing but mostly active step from the SQ1. Later in the piece I activate the arpeggiators on the NTS-1s which creates a doubling or quadrupling note effect from the sequence.
