I used to do a lot of this back in the day when composing film music, and playing live to the film, laying down real time cues and then go back to tidy them up (tweaking a few notes here and there and timing), but I do love having an orchestra at my fingertips – excuse the slight rustiness of this particular outing which is really a demo of the very cost effective plug-in from Audio Imperia. You can assign for example the breath sensor to things like velocity and cutoff CCs … the thing you saw me doing here was on one sound tr4 assigning the breath pressure to ‘volume’ also, so that allowed the ‘after’ feel, you can make sounds louder or softer after they have played – but it had the odd effect of locking sounds at zero or full volume if you weren’t playing, so I switch it in and out for sounds other than tr4 here”
